Trace Your History to Bellville, Ohio

The Richland County village of Bellville is an excellent example of this region's unique and fascinating history. Founded in 1808 and the site of a minor gold rush in 1853, it's a tight-knit but welcoming community that offers small-town charm just minutes from the larger city of Mansfield. The Bellville Bandstand, built in 1879, still stands in the heart of the village, and you can trace the path of the B&O Railroad right through Bellville.
