Giving Tuesday - Mansfield Charities - Haring Realty

As you plan your holiday gift-giving, why not brighten the season for those less fortunate? Take part in the National Day of Giving on Tuesday, December 3 with a donation to one of these deserving charities around Mansfield suggested by our REALTORS®.

  • The Shelby Foundation - 142 N. Gamble St., Suite F, Shelby 44875
Your donations to the Shelby Foundation go a long way toward building the community around Shelby homes for sale. The Foundation has a broad-based mission to support education, arts and culture, healthcare and other programs that strengthen and empower local residents of all ages. Contributions may be earmarked for specific funds or purposes of your choice. Office hours are 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. weekdays.

  • Malabar Farm Foundation - 4050 Bromfield Road, Lucas 44843
Agriculture and conservation are important parts of the heritage surrounding Lucas homes for sale. Keep the tradition alive with a donation to Malabar Farm Foundation, which supports its namesake state park. Malabar Farm was established by area native Louis Bromfield, a Pulitzer Prize-winning author and noted conservationist. The 580-acre park offers camping, hiking, and wildlife viewing along with tours, exhibits, and programs highlighting Bromfield's farming and conservation legacy. Park grounds are open dawn to dusk and office hours are 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. weekdays.

  • Richland County Foundation - 181 S. Main St., Mansfield, OH 44902
Founded in 1945, the Richland County Foundation still maintains its original purpose today: administering charitable gifts and bequests for the local Mansfield community. While the organization has been instrumental in the revitalization of Mansfield's downtown area, its Richland Gives program is specifically designed to allow donors to support the local charities they care about the most leading up to, and on, Giving Tuesday. Nonprofit organizations throughout Richland County can register to participate in Richland Gives.

  • Alzheimer's Association of Northwest Ohio - 2131 Park Ave. W., Ontario 44906
Many families near Ontario homes for sale and elsewhere have been affected by the devastation of Alzheimer's. Help advocate for patients and their loved ones by supporting Alzheimer's Association of Northwest Ohio. In addition to supplying resources and education, Alzheimer's Association dedicates funds to research for treatment, prevention, and cure. Office hours are 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. weekdays.

  • The Visual Bucket List Foundation - 1669 Lexington Ave., Suite B, Mansfield 44907
If you could choose only one thing in the whole world to see, what would it be? The Visual Bucket List Foundation, serving the area around Mansfield homes for sale, helps children facing visual impairment create life-long memories. Founders Christina and Steven Myers were inspired to "pay it forward" by the generosity of others during their own daughter's struggle with Retinitis Pigmentosa. Opportunities are based on each child's individual bucket list wish and current capabilities. Office hours are 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. weekdays.

  • Rescued Rollers - P.O. Box 326, Galion 44833
Our four-legged friends have many pressing needs but not many available resources. Rescued Rollers helps fill the void by providing free or low-cost pet wheelchairs to shelters, rescue organizations, and individuals near Galion homes for sale that have difficulty with the expense. John Lizotte, director of Rescued Rollers, started the organization after his family's experience with Ranger, their handicapped border collie. Donations accepted include cash and used pet wheelchairs that can be refurbished and reused.
