Did you know that every human being on the planet has what it takes to be a hero? No matter how strong or fast you are, you can save the lives of countless strangers with the noble act of donating blood. This process is virtually painless and is so fast that you could complete it during your lunch break. If you'd like to donate blood, June offers the perfect opportunity to bleed for a worthy cause. What started as an attempt to raise awareness for the growing demand for clean, safe blood has blossomed into an annual event that acknowledges the many selfless individuals who donate blood while also spreading education about the many crucial benefits of each blood donation provides.
